I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday. I am enjoying lots of walks with Murphy and catching up with some friends. I have also been busy planning for term 3....exciting! Our focus will be Health and P.E. As part of our literacy unit, room 6 will be making a movie....more to follow!

Successful readers in room 6
Here are a few of the monkeys reading to us in Room 6. We have been practising reading to an audience. We tried to make our voices loud enough, hold our books at a good level and use some expression. We think we did very well. What do you think?
Room 6 the expert egg bouncers
Did you know that eggs can bounce? We did an experiment in room 6 to find out if eggs can bounce. After two weeks soaked in vinegar an egg can bounce. If you leave it in water for the same amount of time....it will just crack. We had lots of fun doing this and have started to record our findings.
